Chair of the Board of Trustees
We are looking for a new Chair who will hold the Board and Co-ordinator to account for the organisation’s Mission Statement. The successful candidate will provide inclusive leadership to the Management Committee, ensuring that each Trustee fulfils their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of the organisation and ensuring that the Board functions as a team. The Chair will support and supervise the Co-ordinator and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to achieve agreed objectives. As with all Board members, they will also act as an ambassador for Laburnum Boat Club, representing and promoting it to external stakeholders as appropriate.
This is a voluntary role with a time commitment of 8-10hours per month

Minibus Driver and Support Worker
£15/hr 12hrs/week
We are looking for a mini-bus driver, who holds a current D or D1 driving license for our Sports Clubs for young people with disabilities on Monday and Thursdays 2.30pm-8.30pm. The role includes driving the Club's 17 seater minibus to pick up young people from school or home, bringing them to the Club, driving to activities, helping support them to take part and taking them home. You would be part of a wider Inclusion team, delivering a much needed service.
